Stronghold ("we", "our", "us") is a cloud storage service operated by Nortos Knights. This policy describes how we collect, use, store, protect, and share information when you use Stronghold at home.nortosknights.com.au. This policy includes specific disclosures for Google user data accessed through Google APIs.

2. Information We Collect

We collect the following information to provide and secure Stronghold:

Account information — your name, email address, and password (or equivalent login credentials) needed to create and secure your account.
Files and synced content — files, documents, contacts, and calendar entries you upload, import, or sync to Stronghold.
Usage and device data — server logs including IP addresses, user agent, browser type, and access times for security and maintenance purposes.

3. Google User Data We Access

If you connect a Google Account to Stronghold, we may access Google user data that you explicitly authorize, such as:

Basic account identity data (for example, name and email address).
Google files and file metadata selected for sync.
Google contacts selected for sync.
Google calendar entries selected for sync.

We only access Google user data after your authorization and only for the features you enable in Stronghold.

4. How We Use Information (Including Google User Data)

We use information, including Google user data, only to:

Provide and maintain Stronghold features you request.
Authenticate your identity and secure your account.
Sync and display your authorized content.
Detect abuse, prevent fraud, and maintain service reliability.
Provide customer support you request.

We do not use Google user data for advertising, profiling, or sale to third parties. We do not use Google user data for AI or model training.

5. Sharing, Transfer, and Disclosure

We do not sell Google user data or personal data. We do not share Google user data with third parties except in the limited cases below:

When you direct us to share data through app functionality.
When required by applicable law, regulation, or legal process.

Any transfer of Google user data is limited to providing or improving user-facing functionality in Stronghold, and not for independent third- party purposes.

6. Data Storage and Security

We apply technical and organizational safeguards, including:

Encryption in transit (TLS).
Encryption at rest for stored content in our cloud services.
Access controls and least-privilege access to production systems.
Security monitoring, logging, and incident response procedures.

We take reasonable measures to protect your data, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

7. Data Retention and Deletion

We keep only the minimum account data required to operate your login (for example, account email and authentication records). We do not keep extra personal profile data beyond what is required for login and security.

User content you store in Stronghold is retained only to provide the storage/sync service and remains encrypted at rest in our cloud systems.

When you delete data or close your account:

Login/account records and Google access tokens are deleted within 30 days.
Deleted user content is removed from active systems within 30 days.
Security and access logs are retained for up to 30 days.

You can also revoke Stronghold's access in your Google Account settings. If you revoke access, we stop further Google data access and delete stored Google tokens associated with your account within 30 days.

8. Your Rights and Choices

You can at any time:

Access, download, correct, or delete your files through Stronghold.
Request deletion of your account and associated personal data.
Request a copy of personal data we hold about you.

9. Cookies

Stronghold uses essential cookies required for authentication and session management. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. If we make material changes to how we use Google user data, we will provide a prominent notice in-app or by email before or when the change takes effect.
